The 3rd Dushanbe Water Action Decade Conference to be held on June 10-13 2024 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan

The Secretariat of the Dushanbe Water Process has the honor to invite you to participate in the 3rd High-Level International Conference on International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018-2028 (the 3rd Dushanbe Water Action Decade Conference) to be held on 10-13 June 2024 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.

The Conference will be hosted by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in cooperation with the United Nations as part of the Dushanbe Water Process the Conference will be a platform for promoting the implementation of the International Water Decade of Action, including advancing the outcomes of the UN Water Conference 2023 with a special focus on the implementation of the Water Action Agenda.

Building on the momentum generated at the UN 2023 Water Conference, the 3rd Dushanbe Water Action Decade Conference aims to continue uniting the world around water and to support the implementation of the voluntary commitments registered in the Water Action Agenda as well as inspire the new ones to build partnership and accelerate action to achieve water related goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The Conference is expected to bring together UN member-states, UN entities, international and regional organizations, financial institutions, business community, civil society, basin authorities and other stakeholders representing different sectors including water, energy, health, food, finance, climate, environment, industry, education, etc.
