TCG KINALIADA is the fourth ship and the last ship of the four ADA Class Corvettes which were built by the İstanbul Naval Shipyard in accordance with the MİLGEM Program.
TCG KINALIADA is named after the “Kınalıada island”, which is located within the islands community called Prince Islands and closest one to İstanbul. Construction process of the TCG KINALIADA began on 08 October 2015. She was laid down on 18 June 2016, launched on 03 July 2017 and made her maiden voyage on 25 March 2019.
She entered service on 29 September 2019.
She is a multi-purpose corvette with principle functions, anti-submarine warfare and antıisurface warfare.
TCG KINALIADA is the first platform to have been integrated with Turkey’s first national surface to surface missile ATMACA, developed by ROKETSAN. She is also the first user of the modern and state-of-art Network Supported ADVENT Combat Management System, developed in partnership with Turkish Naval Research Center Command and HAVELSAN.
Turkey’s first national surface to surface missile ATMACA successfully completed the qualification firing test from TCG KINALIADA in 2021 and procured by Turkish Navy subsequently.

2. Capabilities:
Combat Management System configuration is one of the most significant difference that makes TCG KINALIADA unique.
The most advanced and have being used since 2019, Network Supported ADVENT Combat Management System enables the ship’s command team to conduct picture compilation, data exchange and combat order transfer functions.
The system, also can process threat assessment and automatically allocates sensors to the threats and assigns weapons in order to counter the targets at optimum times and ranges.
Moreover, network infrastructure enables users to use other ships weapons and sensors, and also enables to exchange tactical picture and necessary data.
The sensors and weapon capabilities of TCG KINALIADA are presented below. Sensors and weapons marked with bold are manufactured domestically.
